These terms apply to the Acapella Editor website at acapellaeditor.com, the browser editor at /editor and the Acapella Editor Android app. By using any of them you agree to be bound by these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use them. The iPhone app has its own terms at /terms-ios.
Acapella Editor records and combines video and audio into split-screen performances. Depending on the surface it asks for:
In the browser editor your content stays on your device: clips, drafts and the video library are kept in your browser's storage and exports are rendered locally and downloaded. Browser storage is not a backup. Your browser may clear it, and clearing site data removes every draft and clip, so keep your own copies of anything you care about. We do not provide accounts, cloud storage or recovery of lost drafts.
The editor bundles creative assets you may use in your videos, including commercially:
You may not extract the sticker or music collections and redistribute them as asset packs on their own.
You keep all rights to the content you create with Acapella Editor. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to anything you record, import, modify or share, including music you sing along to.
You agree not to:
You are responsible for managing storage space on your device and in your browser, and for any data charges from your carrier when loading the site, its assets or online features.
Acapella Editor is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost recordings, drafts or exports, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or apps.
We may update these terms at any time; the date below shows the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our website or apps for violations of these terms or for any other reason.
